Prof. ENOS KIREMIRE is an accomplished professor of Chemistry, with a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in inorganic chemistry specialising in Transition Metal Chemistry from the University New Brunswick, Canada. He is an alumnus of Makerere University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry.
Prior to joining the National Planning Authority, Prof. KIREMIRE had taught chemical science for over 30 years at university level mostly in Southern Africa and Uganda. He was a lecturer at the University of Zambia where he rose to the rank of Associate Professor before taking up the position of Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Science at the University of Namibia (UNAM) and subsequently became Dean.
During his scholarly works, Prof Kiremire contributed immensely to research. He, together with UNAM registered seven patents on malaria treatment with the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). He has also made new discoveries of natural laws of chemical clusters, which has made it possible to solve many outstanding phenomena in chemical sciences.
